Resolution number 1-B of the ChRI Parliament

SIA CHECHENPRESS November 6, 2007

Following Dokka Umarov’s self-proclamation as the Emir of the Caucasus Emirates which runs counter to the ChRI Constitution, namely, article 69 of the aforementioned Constitution, and following his withdrawal from offices of the President and the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeriya,

The Parliament of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeriya decrees:

1. In accordance with section 4, pp.86-88, to vest the ChRI Parliament with full authority in the Chechen Republic of Ichkeriya, until the holding of a new election
2. The resolution enters into force upon signature
3. I undertake to supervise personally the implementation of the aforementioned resolution
