According to the report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ChRI all representatives of the ChRI and its honorary consuls overseas must continue working normally, fulfilling orders, instructions and directives of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ChRI. The Ministry expresses hope that the ChRI Parliament would be able to resolve as soon as possible the political crisis in the highest echelons of power of the ChRI, in strict accordance with the provisions of the ChRI Constitution. The diplomatic corps of the ChRI expresses its full confidence in the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Akhmed Zakaev and approves of all of his statements made on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the meantime, all representatives of the ChRI and its honorary consuls overseas responsible for the implementation of the foreign policy of the Chechen state in countries of the international community, urge the leadership of the Chechen Parliament to take prompt practical steps to protect the ChRI’s constitutional arrangements and to bring the country out of the political crisis provoked by its external and internal enemies. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ChRI states that it will always be guided in its practical steps by the Constitution of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeriya and pursue the course of gaining recognition of Chechnya’s political independence.
