Over 20 Yamadayevtsy Flee from Chechnya
SIA CHECHENPRESS, October 25, 2007
Over 20 members of the Yamadayevtsy gang ‘Vostok’ (East) have fled from Chechnya in the beginning of October, the Kavkaz-Centre reveals. Shortly before, the gangsters had defected Yamadayev for a Kadyrovsty gang ‘Oil Regiment’, dislocated in Djalka village, Gudermes Area.
I is reported that some of the Yamadayevtsy paid money to Demilkhanov, the leaders of the ‘Oil Regiment’ gang, for a permission to ‘go with peace’. Then they left Chechnya, as they feared that staying at home would be dangerous for them: after their defection to Kadyrov, the Yamadayevs declared them ‘criminals’, and demanded the Kadyrovtsy to had them over for execution.
Now it emerged that the defectors had no intention to stay within any of the occupational gangs. They preferred to leave Chechnya for good.
