Statement of the Parliament of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria
The genocide against the Chechen nation is going on. The assassination of Abdul-Halim Sadulaev, CHRI President, is another crime against the Chechen people.
The worthy son of the Chechen nation fulfilled his duty to the bitter end, and courageously accepted death, in a battle against superior enemy forces. Like his predecessors Djokhar Dudayev, Zalimkhan Yandarbiyev and Aslan Maskhadov, the Fourth President of CHRI died unbroken, encouraging the alive to continue fighting.
The nation is proud of Sadulaev, and many others of its sons and daughters, who died undefeated in battle against the enemy. The grateful nation shall remember its heroes, follow their example, and continue their struggle to the end.
The Kremlin criminals, because of their slavish mentality, secretly hope to break the people’s resistance by beheading the nation. An example of this are the terrorist attacks against the Chechen Presidents.
Knowing the history of our enemy, terror has always been their main political argument. Therefore, the Chechen nation has worked out a sufficient legal framework to deal with Russian Federation’s crimes. The enemy’s plans are doomed to fail.
We strongly condemn the silence of the world community, who cowardly observe the crimes of Russian Federation.
Seeing the armed struggle as the only way to survive, the Chechen nation shall continue fighting and surely achieve victory. The enemy shall be punished for its crimes.
